Heroin, cocaine and cannabis seized in drug dealer arrests in Canterbury

Two suspected drug dealers have been arrested in Canterbury.

Officers from Canterbury’s Community Policing Team stopped a 20-year old man from Plaistow, London, in Greyfriars Gardens at around 6.30pm yesterday.

He was arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to supply and a quantity of drugs believed to be heroin and cannabis, cash and a mobile phone were seized.

At 11.30pm the same day, a 17-year-old of no fixed address was arrested in St Peter Street in connection with drug supply.

Suspected wraps of heroin and cocaine were recovered by the officers.

Both remain in police custody.
