Fire crews free woman trapped in car after two-vehicle crash in Mote Lane, Fordwich near Canterbury

A woman has been taken to hospital after being cut free by firefighters following an accident near Canterbury.

Crews were called after two cars crashed on Mote Lane in Fordwich just after 8pm last night.

Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to rescue the woman, believed to be in her 40s.

She was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital.

Two children who were also in the vehicle were not injured.
