This car was left battered after it rolled over in an accident yesterday.

A woman in the Fiat 500 was injured in the incident in Canterbury.

It happened shortly after 5pm on the A28 Ashford Road at Thanington, near the London-bound slip road for the A2.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police were called at 5.04pm on Saturday, June 23 regarding a report that a car had rolled over on the A28 near Wincheap.

"Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene where a woman was treated for injuries and was conveyed to a local hospital for further medical attention.

"Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the incident."
