Canterbury: Woman treated after collapsing in taxi rank near bus station

An elderly woman was treated after collapsing in a taxi rank this morning.

Emergency crews were called to St George's Lane, Canterbury, shortly after 11am to reports of concern for the woman's welfare.

Police set up an informal cordon until paramedics arrived to treat the OAP.

A Stagecoach spokesman confirmed there were issues with buses accessing the station for 30 minutes after the incident.

Passengers have been warned to expect some knock-on delays.
