Brendan Nash has continued to earn the praise of his Kent colleagues after transferring his championship form into one-day cricket.

Former West indies international Nash has 294 runs in the opening three Championship games but after being bumped up to third in the order for the 40-over game this season he steered Kent over the line in Holland with 45 not out on Friday having made 42 in the loss at Notts two-days earlier and a match-winning unbeaten 98 against Warwickshire in the opening game.

Nash's 11 in the three-wicket win over Worcestershire Royals at Canterbury on Wednesday took his tally past his total for the entire 40-over competition in 2012.

Skipper James Tredwell admitted: “Nashy is flying at the moment and everyone wants to make the most of it.”

Coach Jimmy Adams added: “We’ve had some good innings from Brendan and he’s getting some important runs. It was a very good knock at Edgbaston, he batted through which was important and got some valuebale support from Keysey, who is also in good nick.”
