Corinthian only Kent club at home in FA Vase Second Round draw

Kent's Southern Counties East League's representatives left in the FA Vase have avoided each other in the Second Round draw next month.

Ashford United, who enter for the first time, having been exempt to this stage following their recent success in the competition, have been drawn away at Southern Combination League Premier Division Eastbourne Town.

Canterbury City, 3-1 winners against Hellenic League Lydney Town on Saturday, also travel across the border with a trip to Eastbourne's Sussex rivals Chichester City.

Corinthian, who won 2-0 at Wessex League Division 1 side Alton, are the only team from the county drawn at home - facing another Hampshire side Alresford Town who play in the Premier Division of the same league.

The two Division 1 clubs both travel to Surrey.

Sporting Club Thamesmead's reward for a 1-0 win over rivals FC Elmstead on Friday night is a trip to Combined Counties League Sutton Common Rovers who groundshare with Vanarama National League Sutton United.

Glebe, who gained one of the results of the First Round, winning 3-2 at Southern Combination Premier Division leaders Shoreham, go to former Ryman League outfit, Walton & Hersham, now also playing in the CCL.

FULL DRAW:

Eastbourne Town v Ashford United

Sutton Common Rovers v Sporting Club Thamesmead

Walton & Hersham v Glebe

Corinthian v Alresford Town

Chichester City v Canterbury City

Ties to be played on Saturday November 12
