A group of friends were ready to throw their bikes in after cycling to Land’s End to raise funds for a cancer charity.

The five cyclists and their support driver, dubbed the Myeloma Musketeers, set the challenge of riding from Swanley for Myeloma UK.

The 447-mile journey was completed in six days and has raised in excess of £17,000.

The saddle-sore team consisted of: John Bailey, 48, of Swanley Lane, Swanley; Robbie Curwood, 60, of Emerson Avenue, Hextable; Mark Cavilla, 49, and Tony Liddell, 46, who are both from Wilmington; Steve Hemmings, also 46, of Park Lane, Swanley Village; and Mike Anscombe, 64, of Dawson Drive, Hextable.
