Longfield fire is being treated as suspicious after Dartford and Thames-side firefighters tackled the blaze yesterday evening.

A blaze in Longfield yesterday evening is being treated as suspicious.

Crews from Dartford fire station were called to Northdown Road at 6.48pm to reports of a fire in a derelict out buildings

About 30 square foot of the building was on fire.

Crews from Thames-side also joined them with extra water.

Police were called at about 7pm to control traffic.

Crews left the scene at 7.50pm.

Whitehill Road closed because smoke was drifting across the path of drivers.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is now underway.
