Air ambulance called to lorry crash on Thames Road, Dartford

An lorry collided with a pedestrian this evening in Dartford though no one is thought to have been seriously injured.

The London air ambulance was called to the crash in Dartford, where the lorry had fallen on its side.

Both the pedestrian and the lorry driver were taken to a London hospital by road, but neither is believed to have suffered serious injury.

The accident happened on the A206 Thames Road, Dartford, just after 4pm.

The Metropolitan Police and London Fire Brigade were also called.

The road was closed in both directions following the accident, causing serious delays.
