Man taken ill in Henderson Drive, Dartford

Police, a fire crew and the Kent Air Ambulance helicopter were called to help a man who suffered a "medical incident" in Dartford.

The emergency services were called to Henderson Drive just before 6.30pm yesterday and spent around two hours at the scene.

A police spokesman said: "Officers attended alongside South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service. A man was taken to a London hospital."

An ambulance spokesman said staff were called around 6.20pm yesterday to reports a man had been found collapsed in Henderson Drive, Dartford.

Ambulance crews in two ambulances and one car attended the scene.

The air ambulance service also attended the scene in one of their road vehicles. The man, who needed resuscitation, was then taken in a serious condition to Kings College Hospital.
