A2: Motorcyclist seriously injured in hit and run at Darenth

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a hit and run on the A2.

The rider, a man in his 50s, was knocked from his bike after colliding with a black Mercedes SLC 250.

The crash happened just between 6.10am and 6.30am on Saturday on the coastbound carriageway of the A2 at Darenth.

The vehicle is not believed to have stopped following the incident but has since been identified.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the car in the moments before or after the collision.

They would also like to appeal to any drivers who may have dashcam footage of the incident.
