Bluewater celebrates 'Best of Kent' with pop-up shops from local firms

Unique businesses from across Kent have set up pop-up shops in Bluewater showcasing the county's best products.

Four firms offering products ranging from fine foods to fun days out now feature in the walkways of the shopping centre.

The stores, set up in conjunction with Visit Kent and Produced in Kent, will only trade until May 4, but more could appear if the scheme proves successful.

Jam maker The Wooden Spoon is celebrating its 40th year by offering customers a range of preserves and afternoon tea.

Leeds Castle also has a stall showcasing the attraction's 900-year history, alongside the Creative Foundation who are holding a series of workshops and demonstrations from artists and makers.

Robert Goodman, Bluewater’s general manager, said: "Bluewater’s Best of Kent pop-ups are another example of our focus on providing something different for guests on every visit.

"Each of the four adds to the overall Bluewater experience and they have all been very popular with our guests already."
