Broken-down lorry causes delays on M25 anticlockwise in Kent

A broken-down lorry closed two lanes of the M25 in Kent.

The third and fourth lanes were shut heading anticlockwise between junction 3 for the M20 and junction 2 for the A2 Darenth Interchange.

Traffic was briefly held while the lorry was moved to the hard shoulder at about 3.30pm, having been reported to police at 2.15pm.

All lanes have since been reopened and traffic has returned to normal.

Meanwhile, another accident involving a lorry and a car caused delays eastbound on the A2 near Bean.
