A caravan has been destroyed by fire in a village road.

Firefighters were called to Skinny Lane, Horton Kirby, at around 1.20pm this afternoon and used a high pressure hose reel to put out the blaze.

The flames were put out in just over 10 minutes, but the caravan was destroyed.

Crews left the scene shortly after and left the incident in the hands of police.

The cause is not yet known.
