Could you tread the Orchard's boards?

IF you have the stage presence or acting bug this could be your big break.

The Orchard Theatre in Dartford is once again hunting actors, singers and dancers, aged between nine and 19 for their summer production of High School Musical.

It is only the second time the theatre has cast its own production for its summer youth project and follows the success of Fame last year. (pictured) Auditions will take place on Sunday, April 10.

The KM Group has teamed up with The Orchard Theatre to offer five young performers guaranteed places in High School Musical.

Young performers will work with The Orchard’s professional director, musical director and choreographer.

Auditions are also open to everyone, regardless of experience. They start at 9am with registration from 8am. To reserve a place, visit orchardtheatre.co.uk, where you will find an audition form.

Auditions are free and High School Musical will run from July 24 to August 7. The cost of taking part for those successful at audition is £110 per person.
