A man has been jailed for nearly three years after he admitted possessing cannabis and party drug MDMA with intent to supply.

George Alan Frederick Bevan, 22, of Overy Street, Dartford, was arrested after police were given a warrant to search his home on August 20.

Inside they discovered cannabis and ecstasy in the form of MDMA powder.

Following an appearance at Maidstone Crown Court where he pleaded guilty, he was ordered to serve a 32-month sentence.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Angela Costin said: ‘We will not tolerate drug dealing and this case should serve as an example to other Kent residents who believe they can get away with it.

‘So-called party drugs like MDMA are extremely dangerous and we will continue to stamp out offenders who deal them out.’
