Dartford have completed their first two summer signings, bringing experienced defender Mark Arber and forward Nathan Collier to Princes Park.

Both played in the 1-0 win pre-season friendly over Leyton Orient on Saturday, when boss Tony Burman also ran the eye over former Gillingham defender Richard Rose.

South African born Arber made more than 570 appearances, scoring 49 goals in a career spanning six clubs, before his release by Dagenham and Redbridge at the end of last season.

Striker Collier has played in every one of Darts' pre-season warm-up games and scored three times for former Blue Square Bet South rivals Hampton & Richmond Borough last season.

Burman said: "I am delighted to have signed somebody with Mark’s experience and calibre. We have been talking for about a month, and things came to fruition on Friday, and he signed on Saturday morning.

"We have known about Nathan for quite a while, he has done well pre-season, and has earned his chance."

Danny Harris scored the winner against a full strength Orient side on Saturday.

Dartford face an Arsenal XI at Princes Park on Wednesday night (7.45pm).
