Delays are easing at the Dartford tunnel after a crash involving a lorry and car.

All lanes have now opened but traffic is slow due to the crash on the M25 anti-clockwise from J1a for the A282 and J31 for West Thurrock.

The tunnel was earlier closed while the accident was recovered at the far end of the tunnel.

Delays going into Essex were stretching back to J2 for the Darenth Interchange after a separate crash.

The accident was initially believed to be a breakdown but it's now thought that a lorry has hit and spun a car onto the hard shoulder.
