There were delays on the A2 heading into London after a crash this afternoon.

The accident happened between the A2018 Old Bexley Lane, near Dartford Heath, and the A223 (Black Prince Interchange) at around 3.30pm.

The road was closed for 20 minutes and a crash barrier has been damaged but all lanes reopened about 45 minutes later.

Both vehicles involved were moved to the hard shoulder to be recovered.

No one is believed to have been injured.
