Dartford and Swanley fire crews cut man from his car after collision on the M25 near the Swanley Interchange

A man was cut from his car by firefighters after a crash on the M25 this morning.

Three fire crews from Dartford and Swanley were called to the anti-clockwise carriageway near the Swanley Interchange at 5.50am after two cars were involved in the collision.

Firefighters cut one driver from his car before he was taken to hospital by ambulance crews.

The Highways Agency has warned motorists to expect delays until 9am when normal traffic conditions are set to resume.
