Fire crews called out after car burns at the Dartford Crossing toll booths

Fire crews were called out to the Dartford toll booths last night, after a car went up in flames.

Two crews from Dartford were sent at at 8.32pm on the Kent side, just after the bridge.

The cause is believed to be an engine fault.

No one was hurt in the fire, though about 70% of the car was damaged by fire.

Crews left at 8.54pm.
