Fire on A2 near Dartford Heath

A road-side fire involving 50 bales of straw has reduced visibility for drivers on the A2.

The blaze broke out at 9.50pm on Sunday at Wilmington.

Fire crews are at the scene tackling the blaze between Junction 3 for Dartford Heath and the M25.

The fire involves approximately 50 bales of straw. Smoke can be seen from both carriageways on the A2 and drivers are asked to take extra care.
