Firefighters battle tyre fire in Dartford

Fire crews are dealing with two fires in Dartford and Greenhithe.

Crews were first called to Green Street Green Road in Dartford to reports tyres were on fire.

On arrival at a breakers yard just after 2.50pm they found two cars, a caravan, and approximately 30 tyres alight.

Firefighters and an ambulance were called to the scene of the ground floor flat fire.

No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is not yet known.

At 3pm crews were called to a ground floor flat fire in Greenhithe.

The flat is on Louvain Drive and there are no reports of any casualties.
