Firefighters were called to a blaze at a social club after a roof caught light.
Two fire engines were sent to the Glentworth Ex-Service Club in Lowfield Street, Dartford, at 5.55pm on Tuesday.
They dealt with the incident in about an hour.
No one was hurt.
A spokesman said: "After extinguishing the fire, crews used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the property, cut away damaged material and assisted with salvage.
