Exit slip road at junction 1b M25/A2 closed after lorry lost its reserve fuel tank and spilled 200 litres of diesel

The M25 exit slip road at the Darenth Interchange is closed after a lorry lost its reserve fuel tank, spilling 200 litres of diesel over the road.

Firefighters from Dartford were called to the scene at the M25/A2 junction at 6:30am.

The anti-clockwise exit slip road at junction 1b of the M25 is closed.

The Highways Agency is on the scene and their website is reporting delays of 10 minutes.

The road is expected to re-open at 11am.
