Jewellery stolen in Dartford burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses following a report of an aggravated burglary in Dartford.

It was reported that the victim, who is in his 60s, had his front door forced open before having jewellery stolen from inside.

The crime happened at a property in Browning Road shortly before 8.30pm yesterday.

The suspect is described as being a white man, 5ft 10in, and of muscular build.

The victim was not seriously injured but was taken to a local hospital as a precaution.
