Love Island contestant Jack Fincham from Kent becomes favourite to win ITV show

A contestant from Kent is still going strong in ITV’s Love Island show.

Jack Fincham, 26, from Swanley, has asserted himself as a fan favourite thanks to his charm and love story with Dani Dyer, 21, daughter of TV hard man Danny Dyer.

The self-proclaimed animal lover was instantly popular with the Love Island faithful as he paired up with the brunette and the two hit it off straight away.

But the pen salesman’s happy start did not last long as things got awkward during a challenge between the housemates.

In a game that involved guessing secrets about the boys, it was revealed Jack had cheated on two of his past girlfriends - much to the annoyance of his partner Dani.

She said: "I was disappointed when I heard that about Jack.

"It was only two, but I don’t care if it was one, you don’t cheat. You don’t say it like that either."

The Kent lad, who is becoming famous for his pearly white teeth, was quick to try and make amends with the bartender.

He asked: "You don’t think any less of me do you? Be honest though because I hated that. It’s not a good look is it?”

But the pair soon made up after some grafting from Jack and have now shared their first proper kiss, something the 26-year-old "couldn’t stop smiling" about.

The duo, who viewers see as two peas in a pod, are the current favourites to win the show.

Away from his love affair with Dani, the former boxer has established himself as a favourite among his housemates - in particular Doctor Alex.

After Alex was going through a rocky patch of his own and questioning himself, Jack took it upon himself to give a rousing pep talk his friend.

As Alex was getting a haircut, he said: “Check you out. All the girls will want you now when they see you.”

The comments were received well on social media with viewers labelling the pair the new Chris Hughes and Kem Cetinay - two contestants from last year who were also part of a bromance.

After a tense opening few episodes it’s been nothing but positive for Jack, after his romance with Dani, a bromance with Alex and becoming a fan favourite.

However, he might want to rethink his footwear, with a pair of his shoes - or ‘hooves’ as Twitter labelled them - becoming a viral sensation.
