A crash thought to involve an articulated lorry and a car blocked a flyover near the Dartford Crossing this evening.

The accident happened on the junction just before the QE II bridge, and caused long delays both sides of the crossing.

No-one was injured in the crash but traffic in Dartford, and around the crossing, was badly affected.

There were reports of a second crash north-bound at about 7pm but traffic in the area is now clearing.
