Lorry driver dies after Swanley Interchange crash off M25 after suspected medical episode

A lorry driver has died after a crash which closed an exit on a motorway following a suspected "medical episode" at the wheel.

The man in his 60s was pronounced dead at the scene after a collision at the Swanley Interchange roundabout at junction 3 of the M25.

The exit was closed for several hours while fire crews and police cut his body free from the cab.

No other vehicles were involved.

Police had initially been called at 7am to reports a vehicle had collided with the central reservation on the M25 as it was approaching junction three clockwise.

It is believed he may have suffered a "medical episode" at the wheel.

His next of kin have been informed.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have dash cam footage.
