M25 delays after car towing caravan overturns on anti-clockwise carriageway between Orpington and Swanley

Motorists have been facing delays on the M25 in Kent after a car towing a caravan spun round and overturned.

Queues built as two lanes were blocked when the vehicle ended up on its roof on the clockwise carriageway at about 2pm.

Miraculously, police said no one had been seriously injured in the dramatic smash.

It happened after a multi-vehicle crash between J4 for the A21 at Orpington and J3 for the M20 at the Swanley Interchange.

The smash left the caravan and the vehicle it was being towed by facing in the wrong direction.

Two lanes were blocked and motorists suffered delays of about 30 minutes.

The road was fully reopened by about 4.30pm, with delays beginning to clear.
