Man arrested for dangerous driving after cars were damaged in Wrotham Road, Meopham Green

A man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after several parked cars were hit in and around the village of Meopham yesterday (Saturday).

The man, who has not been named, was arrested after several people reported their parked cars had been damaged by another car.

The arrest happened at about 1.30pm when police on motorbikes and patrol cars handcuffed a man in Wrotham Road, Meopham Green.

One eye witness who didn’t want to be named, said: “There were two police cars and two police bikes.

"The guy was cuffed and police were putting him into the car as I went past.”

A spokesman for Kent Police said: “A man has been arrested for dangerous driving.”
