Nicky Gale charged with burglary after break-in at Boots in Dartford High Street - plus EIGHT other offences

A man has been charged with burglary after a break-in at a high street store.

Nicky Gale, 34, of no fixed address, was arrested following the incident at Boots in Dartford in the early hours of last Friday morning.

It was reported that two suspects gained entry by damaging the front door with a dark Volkswagen Polo just before 4am, before making off with perfume.

Following his arrest, police charged Gale with eight other offences - including assaulting an officer today.

He's also been charged with the burglary of a house in Princes Road, Dartford, between January 15 and January 16, theft from a motor vehicle in Dartford between February 15 and February 16, and then again between February 16 and February 17.

There are two charges of shoplifting in Dartford on February 14 and February 17, and another two of theft from a motor vehicle, one on February 14 and another between February 15 and February 16.

He has been remanded in custody and due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on March 20.
