Jordan Bailey-Mascoll, of The Brent, Dartford, begins trial over 'moped murder' of Danny Pearce killed for his Rolex in Greenwich

The trial of a 25-year-old accused of murdering a man for his Rolex has begun.

Jordan Bailey-Mascoll, of The Brent, Dartford, has appeared at Woolwich Crown Court at the start of a two-week trial.

He is accused of killing Danny Pearce, 31, who was shot and stabbed in Greenwich by two men on a scooter as he made his way home from a night out with his girlfriend last July.

Mr Pearce, from Bromley, was attacked shortly after midnight while on his way home from a night out at Oliver’s Jazz Club.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. A post mortem examination gave the cause of death as multiple stab wounds.

A £10,000 reward had been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the killers.

A 21-year-old man also arrested in connection with the attack remains released under investigation.
