Motorcyclist killed in Dartford crossing crash

A motorcyclist has died after a crash near the Dartford crossing yesterday.

Emergency services were called at around 2.50pm after a white lorry, white van and blue Honda motorbike crashed on the Essex-bound carriageway of the A282 just before the Dartford crossing.

Police and ambulance crews attended but the motorcyclist, a man in his 30s from the Chelmsford area, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating the incident and are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the vehicles beforehand, to get in contact.
