Fire crews were called to Bluewater this morning after an alarm went off.

The fire alarm sounded in Next at 10.15am and an area of the Thames Walk at Bluewater was evacuated and cordoned off.

Fire crews were at the shopping centre dealing with the incident before it reopened 50 minutes later.

A spokeswoman for Bluewater said: "It has been temporarily cordoned off for the protection of our guests and hosts.

"Bluewater regrets any incovenience caused to guests."
