Planning documents suggest Tapi Carpets could replace Next at Prospect Place, Dartford

A retail park could be about to roll out the red carpet for a new store to replace one of the country’s biggest brands.

Shoppers at Prospect Place in Dartford had to wave goodbye to Next earlier in the summer, but planning documents submitted to Dartford council suggest that they may not have to wait too long for a replacement.

Tapi Carpets appears to be taking an interest in coming to the town, with an application for illuminated signage to go up now awaiting approval.

Prospect Place already boasts an ScS superstore, which specialises in sofas and carpets.

Tapi Carpets has been contacted for comment.
