Thames Water and Sevenoaks District Council investigate sink hole which opened up in Oliver Road, Swanley

A giant sinkhole has opened up in the back garden of a house in Swanley.

The 9ft deep chasm appeared in the back gardens of the properties in Swanley and has already swallowed two sheds.

It is believed the root of the problem is a leaking drainage pipe which resulted in water saturating the ground causing it to give way.

The sinkhole is four metres deep
