Lorry sheds load of metal poles on M25 near Swanscombe

Motorists are facing "severe delays" on the M25 after a lorry shed its load of metal poles across the carriageway.

It happened clockwise at J1a for Crossways Boulevard and Swanscombe at around 1.45pm, but has led to queues of traffic all afternoon.

At one point all traffic was halted while the lorry was removed and the metal poles were recovered.
