Keanu Reeves came to Kent to test a new set of wheels.

The A-lister paid a visit to Brands Hatch on Monday to try out motorcycling at 175mph with four-time British Superbike champion Shane Byrne.

The famous circuit has hosted 14 Grand Prix, and now it has hosted another superstar.

Reeves said: “It has been an amazing day at Brands Hatch with the legendary Shakey Byrne.

“He has been really patient, kind and gracious and sharing some knowledge with me, so he has been helping me out which has been really cool. This has been a new experience and it really has been special as it is a great place to ride.”

Byrne, who is originally from Sittingbourne, added: “To get Keanu and the guys over here and out around Brands Hatch, my home track, has been really fun. It seems really surreal to be riding behind Keanu Reeves around my local circuit, but it has been great and we all had a lot of fun.”
