Teenager's stolen bag anonymously returned to Bluewater

A teenager’s designer handbag which was reported stolen has been anonymously returned.

The bag was returned to Bluewater, Greenhithe, the place it went missing, at around 3.30pm on Sunday, March 25, after an appeal was issued on Saturday, March 24.

Inside the bag were the items also reported stolen which was a quantity of money, an iPhone 8 and a small photo album, however the sim card was missing from the phone along with the photos inside the album.

The police released CCTV of a woman they wished to speak to following the incident and are still keen to talk to her.

The theft was reported to have happened at around 3.30pm on Saturday, March 17, after the teenage girl visited the Urban Outfitters store.

The girl briefly put her white Michael Kors handbag down whilst trying on a jacket then walked away.

A woman was seen picking up the bag and putting it inside her own bag before walking out of the store.

Although the bag has been returned officers would still like to locate the woman in the image as she may have information important to the incident.
