Connor Hamer appeals for return of part of his original Romany gypsy caravan lost in Dartford

A traveller is offering a reward after part of his historic horse-drawn wagon fell off as he drove through Kent.

Connor Hamer, 24, lost the silver fret from the wheel of his 128-year-old Henry Jones & Son of Hereford ledge caravan, which he says is worth more than £100,000.

Mr Hamer, a Romany gypsy from Bury, is now offering £50 to anyone who can find the piece, which he lost travelling through Dartford on Sunday.

He said: "It's the silver thing in the middle of the wheel and will look like a dog dish at the side of the road.

"My wagon is 128 years old and means a lot to me."

The ornately decorated wagon is described as "a very fine and early example of an original Henry Jones & Son of Hereford ledge wagon."
