Dartford FC striker Tom Bradbrook looking to continue his goalscoring form against former club Margate FC

Tom Bradbrook will not hold back on his celebration if he scores against his former side Margate on Saturday.

Plenty of returning players do exactly that when they go back to their old clubs but Dartford’s leading scorer sees no reason to curb his enthusiasm at Hartsdown Park.

Bradbrook joined Margate from Sittingbourne in January 2011 and stayed with them until the end of the following season.

He said: "I probably will celebrate. I think if you’re at a club longer than three or four years you probably wouldn’t but I was there for a season-and-a-half.

"A lot of the people that were there, playing-wise, are not there now so it’s a completely different club. I played there when I was a lot younger.

"I did quite well there. I had injury problems as well but there’s a lot of nice people up there so I’m looking forward to going back – and hopefully I score."

Bradbrook has scored five goals in his last four games and he’s excited about leading the line for Dartford in two big Kent derbies over the weekend.

He said: "I think it gets you more up for it. Hopefully there’ll be a lot of fans there but we’ll treat them like any other game.

"It’s going to be hard. Ebbsfleet are going to be a big team this year but we take the next game as it comes.

"The only game we’re looking at now is Margate and we’ll give it a good shot."
