A late Harry Crawford strike earned Dartford a share of the spoils against fellow strugglers Southport in the Vanarama Conference.

Ryan Hayes made his 300th start for the club in the game at Princes Park.

The post denied Dartford in the first half before the visitors took the lead through John Marsden right on half-time.

Dartford pressed for an equaliser in the second half but they found Southport keeper David Raya-Martin in fine form.

Marsden's first-half strike looked set to be enough to seal all three points and see Southport leapfrog their hosts in the table.

But Crawford had other ideas, levelling for Dartford in the 90th minute to send the majority of the 1,163 fans into celebration and to keep his side out of the relegation zone, a point above Kent rivals Welling.
