Dartford have signed former Luton defender Danny Fitzsimons.

The 23-year-old, who joined the Hatters from Histon in June 2013, had loan spells at Bishop's Stortford and Brackley last season before the League 2 club released him in May.

Fitzsimons becomes the Darts' fourth signing of the summer after Callum McNaughton, George Sykes and Jack Simmons.

Dartford boss Tony Burman said: "Danny is a talented left-back, which is a position that I needed to fill.

"I am delighted that he has put pen to paper today, as he can now join up with the rest of the squad for their first pre-season training session this Thursday."
