Dartford ended a run of five successive defeats with an impressive victory at Wrexham on Saturday.

The Darts went ahead inside just six minutes when skipper Elliot Bradbrook fired home from the edge of the box beyond keeper Daniel Bachmann.

Darts cleared an Andy Bishop header off the line after Mark Carrington’s corner before keeper Jason Brown made an excellent double stop to deny Bishop.

Connor Jennings and Wes York both missed the target for Wrexham who found clear-cut openings hard to come by against an improved Dartford defensive display.

Rory McAuley headed in Lee Noble’s corner to put Dartford 2-0 ahead on the hour mark, only for Wrexham to finally find a way through six minutes later when Louis Moult finished.

Brown denied Jennings and former Welling defender Blaine Hudson but it was Dartford who wrapped up the points late on when Tom Bradbrook’s excellent finish left Bachmann with no chance.

Dartford: Brown, Driver (Collier 66mins), McAuley, Mitchel-King, Bender, Noble, E Bradbrook, Sweeney, Daley, Crawford (Harris 62mins), T Bradbrook. Subs not used: Ibrahim, Cornhill, Hayes. Attendance: 2,662.
