Tony Burman admitted Dartford's performance at Grimsby on Saturday was their worst of the season.

Darts lost 3-0 at Blundell Park and they remain in the Vanarama Conference relegation zone with more than a third of the season gone.

Burman said: "It was a poor performance from us, against a very good side.

"I was really disappointed with the way we played in the first half. The second half was a little bit better but we were beaten by the better side.

"We set out to do certain things in the first half but unfortunately it didn’t go to plan. We’re better than how we performed on Saturday.

"On the day, too may players put in poor performances. We let our standards drop.

"It was probably our poorest performance of the season.

"We had a good talk about it (at training) on Monday night and we’ve got to move on."

Dartford are away to local rivals Bromley in the FA Cup first round proper on Saturday.
