Dartford flying to their National League South match against Truro City on Tuesday night.

Dartford hope their National League South play-off hopes get lift-off on Tuesday night – quite literally.

The Darts are flying to Truro for their crunch play-off chase before returning by plane the following morning.

Dartford coach Steve Mosely said: “It’s going to be a tough trip to Truro in terms of the logistics to it.

“The club have been brilliant and are trying to make it as easy as possible for us.

“We’ve been to Truro once before and it is a difficult place to go. I’ve seen them a few times this year and so have Tony and Paul, they are certainly one of the best teams we have seen this season.”

Dartford are back in the top five and conscious that every time this season they have jumped into the play-off places, they have been promptly knocked back down again.

Now we’re at the business end of the campaign, Mosely knows there is no better time to go on a run.

“We just want to win as many games as possible and see where we take it,” he said. “We’ve gone to fifth but every time we’ve done that previously we’ve dropped out of it.

“They are the games you want to be involved in. I’d rather play teams who have something to fight for as well because the pressure is on them as much as us.

“It’s the best time of the season for us to put a run together. Hopefully we can stay in that top five.”

Tom Bradbrook (hamstring) is likely to miss out for Dartford but they are hopeful that Barry Cogan (dead leg) and Jack Simmons (ankle) will be fit to make the trip.
