Dartford have signed Portsmouth forward Bradley Tarbuck on loan for a month.

The deal was done just before the loan window shut on Thursday evening.

Tarbuck made his Pompey debut at the start of last season in a League Cup tie against Plymouth.

His only other senior appearance for the south coast club was earlier this month, when he came off the bench towards the end of Portsmouth's 3-0 League 2 win over Carlisle.

Tarbuck arrives at Princes Park at a time when Dartford's attacking options are limited.

Andy Pugh and Harry Crawford are both injured, which left Tom Bradbrook and Danny Harris as manager Tony Burman's only two fit forwards for the visit of Chester on Tuesday.

Darts lost that game 4-2 and Tarbuck is set to make his debut away to Forest Green Rovers on Saturday.

Burman's side are three points from safety in the Vanarama Conference.
