Dartford sign former Norwich City winger Luke Daley but release ex-Gillingham forward Tom Derry and former Ipswich Town player Jordan Adekunle

Dartford have signed former Norwich, Plymouth and Braintree winger Luke Daley.

Last week, Darts boss Tony Burman said he'd been impressed by Daley's efforts on trial and now a deal has been done to bring the 24-year-old to Princes Park.

Daley made 31 appearances for Braintree last season as the Iron finished sixth in Conference Premier.

Burman said: "I have been impressed with Luke throughout the pre-season and I am delighted he has accepted an offer to join us next season.

"Luke, at 24, is at a good age, has experience in playing Conference football and will be a good addition to the squad."

However, two other trialists have been released.

Burman said: "I would like to thank both Tom Derry and Jordan Adekunle for their efforts during pre-season. However, at this moment in time, (I am) unable to offer them a deal for next season."

Dartford's next pre-season friendly is away to Thamesmead Town on Saturday.
