Dartford have signed former Newport County winger Ben Swallow.

The 24-year-old Welshman had been playing for the Darts' local rivals Bromley but he left the Skrill South leaders earlier this month.

Swallow was released by Newport last summer, having made 20 appearances for the Exiles in their promotion-winning campaign.

His last appearance for Bromley came as a substitute in their 3-1 win away to Ebbsfleet United on New Year's Day.

Swallow is the second signing made by manager Tony Burman in the space of four days, striker Alex Wall having arrived on loan from Luton on Friday.

He goes straight into the Dartford squad for Tuesday's trip to Kidderminster.
